Vacuum Skin Packaging
Product Introduction
Vacuum skin packaging is an innovative packaging solution where the product is placed in a breathable, specially designed tray or cardboard. A layer of heat-softened skin film is then placed over the product and sealed tightly through a vacuum process, which ensures the film adheres firmly to the surface.
Compared to traditional packaging, vacuum skin packaging film offers excellent oxygen barrier properties, making it ideal for preserving the freshness of perishable products such as fresh meat, seafood, and ready-to-eat meals. By maintaining a tight seal and reducing oxygen exposure, skin vacuum packaging helps extend the product’s shelf life. At temperatures below 4°C, vacuum skin packaging can keep food fresh for 4 to 8 weeks, significantly reducing spoilage and food waste.
